The final round of The Clorox Lounge competition took place last Friday at the El Portal Theatre in Hollywood. Hosted by the infectiously funny and seriously lovely, Sherri Shepherd, host on The View, Dancing with the Stars alum, actor in recently released film Think Like a Man, and Mom to 6 year old son Jeffrey, the event was a straight flush! Moms and Dads around the country competed for an opportunity to perform at the final round and a $10,000 prize. The finalists Frances Dilorinzo and Justin Worsham definitely proved they belonged on that stage, keeping the audience including RHBH Kyle Richards and hubby Mario Umansky, Mario Lopez and wife Courtney Mazza laughing! Proving that kids always say the darndest thing there was a seriously hilarious moment when winner, Frances Dilorinzo was congratulated by her two sons who stood in the audience and proclaimed that the $10,000 was going towards “200 gifts for them.” The YAI Network was the evening’s beneficiary. Since 1957, the YAI Network has been providing hope and opportunity to people of all ages with developmental disabilities and their families.
