Spritzing on the Cool

I’m not into the hot weather. Drippy, sweaty…ick. Short of carrying around a cooler full of popsicles and sticking my head in it, I try to survive. Although the woman in the photo above appears to be Maceing herself, she actually has a better solution.

To save face during the hot days, refreshing mists are a must. They’re about the only things that save me from a slimy spaz at anything above 80 degrees. Just a quick spritz, skin’s refreshed, balanced and hydrated.

Here are a few faves, tiny enough to put in your purse, diaper bag, pocket…so this summer, cool it.

derma-e Hyaluronic Hydrating Mist (Fights environmental stress with ester-C, and the HA supports sagging skin)

Vichy Thermal Spa Water (Highly concentrated water with 15 mineral salts and trace elements, and it’s recognized by the French Academy of Medicine for its soothing properties…ooo la la)

Burt’s Bees Carrot Seed Oil Complexion Mist (Keep this one in the fridge for an extra jolt…balsam of Peru helps promotes healthy re-growth of skin cells so there’s a little anti-aging kick)

Evian Water Spray (Back to basics, ladies…this is a celeb favorite to rehydrate skin, and a quick mist over makeup sets it beautifully)

Mario Badescu Facial Spray (This calming mist is rich in extracts of Aloe, Bladderwrack, Rose and Gardenia)
