Target Wants to Make You a Cocktail or Two While You Shop
Target, the superstore just found a new way to get us to fork over more cash because serving cocktails and selling bottles of booze is going to help!
Chicago is slated to open a new store in October, customers could take a break from their shopping sprees and indulge in a drink (or three). According to Crain’s Chicago, the new Windy City location applied for not one but two liquor licenses—one to sell packaged booze on its shelves and the other to serve beer, wine, and spirits from a bar inside the 24,000-square-foot space.
If they get approval, it will be the only Target store to serve alcohol on-site. We’re crossing our fingers that this will go nationwide and roll-out the boozapalooza we all could use while shopping for toilet paper and school supplies. Because nothing else can improve a trip to the grocery store quite like a glass of rosé, am I right?
