When it comes to Netflix and Chill, I’ll be the first to admit that my husband and I really aren’t into the millennial version of the hip social media trend. In fact, we’re quite the opposite as the “Netflix” part means watching half an episode of House of Cards while “Chill” means totally passing out on the couch before it ends. Sorry to break it to you, but that’s what you call parenting in the year 2015, LOL.

Well, for those who have a hard time keeping up with your favorite shows (like me!) there’s a new invention that will help those who still want to give binge-watching all night a try. But there’s a catch of course!

According to Good Housekeeping, Netflix is now providing detailed instructions on how to make your own motion sensor socks to wear for your next solo binge-watching. Here’s a little more:

All you have to do is have (1) an “understanding of electronics and microcontroller programming, and be comfortable around a soldering iron,” (2) a cute pair of socks, (3) the materials needed for a DIY motion sensor (like LEDs and microcontrollers, etc., etc.), (4) sensor-programming skills, (5) knitting skills, and (6) patience.

All in all, it should take any amateur engineer just about the length of time you were planning to watch TV in the first place.

Um, OK. LOL. Check out the fun video below and let us know what you think.
