They Said I Was Huge And Unhealthy: Plus Size Mom Shares The Cruel Comments Made By Her Family And Friends after She Posted Maternity Photos

A plus-size woman who received vile abuse from friends and family on Facebook after she proudly shared her maternity photos has told her story as a part of a powerful new picture series.

Brittany Anne Dykstra, 25, from North Muskegon, Michigan, posed in a shoot for Natalie McCain, a photographer from Rockledge, Florida, who started The Honest Body Project, as a way to end body-shaming.

In the photos, Brittany shows off her baby bump in a set of black underwear, and is also quoted in the project telling her story.
