I know there are a lot of you who love yoga. Personally, I could never get in to it because I just find it too boring and I’d always find my mind wandering to the million things I have to do when I’m laying on a mat trying to concentrate on my breathing. But watching this video of a woman named Kinki Wong that she posted to her facebook page just might change my mind about yoga.
The amazing thing about Kinki’s video is not only that she’s doing these ridiculous back bends and splits and power lifts, but that she’s 39 weeks pregnant! Wow! While I’m sure many of you will start with the whole ‘is that safe!?’ comments, it looks like Kinki has been practicing yoga for many, many years and that she knows what she’s doing. Also, since there’s little to no impact with yoga I can’t see why this wouldn’t be perfectly safe. As long as she’s feeling good than I say go for it!
I have to admit that watching this video makes me think I should give yoga another try! That is some seriously impressive strength and power that Kinki is demonstrating here! Did you do yoga while you were pregnant? Would you exercise this far in to your pregnancy?
