Disclosure: I am a member of the Invisalign Mom Advisory Board. I received complimentary treatment from Invisalign, but all opinions expressed are my own.
About a year ago my dentist at a regular cleaning suggested that I may need Invisalign. My lower teeth were crowded and he was concerned that the older you get the more teeth issues you can have from crowding and spacing problems.
As someone who had braces (because of TMJ and remembering the fortune it cost my parents) I was embarrased to say the least!
My dentist explained that I should not be embarrased. Back in the 90’s we were not properly explained that once you get braces you need to watch your teeth the rest of your life! Because they can easily move again!
I thought about Invisalign and knew I needed to do some research. I was so fortunate that while I was doing research Invisalign reached out to me to work with them. I have seen incredible results in a short amount of time! But, I can’t tell you all of that right now!!!
Over the next few months I will share with you 12 reasons why I think Invisalign is the perfect solution when you hit your… echhhmmm… 40’s or any age for that matter!
I had lots of quesations and here were some very Valuable facts that I learned about Invisalign.
Will everyone know I am using Invisalign? Invisalign is a series of nearly invisible, removable “aligners” that are used to gradually straighten teeth without metal or wires.
Who can use Invisalign? Invisalign is used for treating adults and teens.
Can everyone use Invisalign? From very simple to very challenging, Invisalign offers a full spectrum of clear aligner treatments for most types of teeth straightening issues. Invisalign’s treatment capabilities are not limited to mild cosmetic cases. Due to many advances in its proprietary technology, Invisalign can effectively correct a broad range of more complex cases such as: overly crowded teeth, widely spaced teeth, open bite, crossbite, overbite and underbite.
How much will this cost me? Every patient’s needs are different and there are many factors that determine the cost of Invisalign treatment. But, in most cases, Invisalign is comparable
in cost to traditional braces, is covered by most dental insurance plans, and
affordable financing options are often available.
