Victoria Beckham says that pregnancy help cure her acne but some of us are not so lucky. Even Britney Spears battled acne while she was pregnant. “Most women go through multiple skin changes during and after pregnancy due to hormonal changes. Stress as usual is also a culprit. Stress weakens the body’s natural fighting ability against outside bacteria on the skin ,” says Dr. Simon Ourian of The Epione Center in Beverly Hills. Some women find their skin stays clear until they stop nursing, only to explode with the return of their periods. The good news is that for many women the acne disappears within a few months when their hormones get back to normal.
