Would You Drink While Pregnant? Latest Reports Say ~ No Amount of Alcohol Is Safe

Did you drink while pregnant? I never understood why anyone wanted to have a drink while pregnant? I’ll admit for both of my pregnancies that is how I knew I was pregnant, the smell of alcohol made me sick.  The only thing I craved at the end of my 2nd pregnancy with my daughter was beer. I easily had a root-beer though and it changed the cravings :)   You spend your whole life wanting a baby and all this time preparing and if you know this won’t be good for the baby then why just not give it up till they pop out?

The “Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders” (FASDs), was published in the November 2015  and explains that “prenatal exposure to alcohol  … is the leading preventable cause of birth defects and intellectual and neurodevelopmental disabilities in children.”

“The research suggests that the smartest choice for women who are pregnant is to just abstain from alcohol completely,” said Dr. Janet F. Williams, one of the lead authors.
