A Lawsuit Has Been Filed Against EOS Lip Balm After Users Notice Blister and Bleeding

After Cronin had her alleged experience with the balm, she took the matter to Facebook, posting pictures of the blisters surrounding her mouth. According to the lawsuit, “The post set off a frenzy of responses from other individuals who shared the identical experience with EOS.”

Monica Loves Makeup a beauty blogger, also claims to have had an adverse reaction to the product: “I’m probably like everyone else because I loved EOS lip balms. However, a couple months ago I started to get VERY chapped lips. Of course, I kept applying EOS because I thought it would make it better. Not only were my lips chapped, but I had a lot of dryness around my mouth as well. I stopped using my EOS balms and used vaseline instead. It took a good month or two to completely heal up.”

EOS shared a statement to Facebook, saying that “the health and well-being of our customers is our top priority.”
