Being a parent means that you likely worry about the safety of your children all the time, especially when you’re not with them. When they’re off to high school, there is little you can do to ensure their safety. You can only hope that you’ve taught them well to deal with situations as an almost-adult, and they will be able to proceed with caution in the world on their own.
With teenagers, the worry is that they’re drinking, doing drugs, or driving recklessly. You worry about teens having girlfriends and boyfriends, and having sex let alone unsafe sex.
But for parents to worry about your teen kissing someone? Not a likely scenario – it’s going to happen.
