Adorable 80 Year Old Couple Recreate The Opening Of The Movie ‘UP’ To Celebrate Their 60th Wedding Anniversary

Most of us would agree that the love story between Carl and Ellie in Disney’s ‘UP’ is one of the sweetest and most beautiful love stories we’ve ever seen on the big screen, even if (spoiler alert) Ellie has passed away before we even get to meet her. The first 15 minutes of that movie shows up how strong the love between the two of them is through Carl’s memories, and even though UP was a children’s movie I can guarantee you that every parent had tears in their eyes in the theatre when you realized Ellie was gone.

Jason Lyle Black recognized the same love between his grandparents, so to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary he helped them become a real life Carl and Ellie, filming them recreating special moments from the movie all while playing the signature theme song on the piano.

From Carl’s tennis balls on the bottom of his grandfather’s walker to their grandparents very own adventure book, this is a truly lovely way to celebrate such a milestone occasion. Black writes on his YouTube page that “My grandparents were very excited to be part of this video. It was so fun to work with them on it. I’ve loved their piano duets ever since I was a little kid, so this will be a family treasure for all of us.”

Awwwww!
