Ariana Grande’s Mom Helped Save Concertgoers During the Manchester Attack

No matter where you look, the world is talking about the horrific events that unfolded at the Ariana Grande concert on Monday, May 22nd. The singer had just finished a concert show in Manchester, England when a suicide bomber detonated a bomb strapped to his own body.

The blast killed not only the bomber, but it also took the lives of 22 other concert attendees, including children. Among the lives lost were children as young as eight and mothers in their 40’s there to pick up their children after the concert.

Everything about this story is heartbreaking and tragic and one of the things that the experts say to look for in acts of terror like this is the helpers — look for the helpers for hope, is a common anthem we hear. And in this case, one of those helpers was Ariana Grande’s mom herself, Joan.
