At What Age Should Little Girls Be Forced to ‘Cover up’ at Public Pools?

With the warm weather quickly approaching, many of us are preparing for beach days with the kids, or perhaps it’s some fun at the local swim club or splash pad.

While most of us worry about having enough towels and sunscreen and snacks and swim diapers (if needed), you may now also need to worry about what your child is wearing (but only if she’s a girl!)

A Las Vegas woman was reprimanded by the staff at a local splash pad after she let her 3 year old daughter play in the water shirtless, opening up a debate about what age little girls should be forced to ‘cover up’ in public.
