Blogger Encourages Moms to Admit They Are ‘Broken’

One of the hardest parts about motherhood is the fact that it never seems to be quite what you think it will be like. You may have imagined a beautiful, cooing baby that is happy and jolly and instead, get a beautiful, cooing baby that… um, never sleeps.

You may have imagined that parenting would come naturally to you or that you would be naturally graced with endless vats of patience, only to find that 10 minutes of whining reduces you to a puddle on the floor crying in frustration.

It’s hard because motherhood is generally both awesome and incredibly hard. And according to one mother? You just have to embrace that fact.
