City Wants to Ban Sandboxes at Public Parks and Parents Are Not Happy

During my children’s pre-school years, we spent a lot of time at our local public parks with them. They would spend endless hours on the swings and slides, chasing each other around or making new friends. It was also a great opportunity for everyone to enjoy the outdoors for a few hours a day. No television, no tablets, no boredom. And the best part is that it’s all free, too.

With all that being said, it looks like one city is making a huge change to their parks. They want to eliminate sandboxes and quite frankly, a lot of parents are pretty upset over it.
