If you’re a parent, then you know how challenging and unpredictable the toddler stage is. Your new walker/runner can quickly dash out of sight within a split second. Curious about the world around them, toddlers love to explore their surroundings – without their parents holding their hand every second of the way.
I spent the second year of my kids’ lives mostly chasing them everywhere. My active boys were so rambunctious and wouldn’t sit still, that I would literally have to be two steps behind them when we were out. If they weren’t in the car seat or stroller, they’d be off running like a superstar soccer player.
It’s exhausting! But this dad had another idea for his long-distance runner, and he doesn’t care who disapproves.
This dad has no shame putting his kid on a leash.
