Defiant Mom Is Proud Her 10-Year-Old Killed a 220-Pound Black Bear

A couple of years ago I interviewed a dad who let his then 10-year-old daughter use an AR-15 assault rifle. She was a competitive shooter and, even at that young age, a gun rights advocate. So when it comes to guns, hunting and little kids, nothing shocks me anymore.

Recently another gun-toting 10-year-old got into hot water. On this occasion what she killed is causing the controversy, not just the fact that she regularly wields a rifle to go out hunting with her family.
