Do Fidget Spinners Really Help With ADHD or Is the Hype Spinning Out of Control?

While stopping at the store yesterday with my kids to pick up a few items (read: I needed one thing and one thing only, but with four kids, it took me a solid 30 minutes and I was exhausted by the time I left), I noticed a huge display near the checkout lanes.

It was a giant, overflowing bin with a huge sign on it that screamed “BUY HERE!!” and looking a little closer, I realized that I was looking at the real-life version of the Fidget Spinner that I had seen plastered all over social media.

I’ve seen tons of articles and posts about the infamous fidget spinners, but I have to admit that I had yet to actually see one in real life. And here, at my local Kroger of all places, the store was stocking up on what they apparently thought was a super hot seller.

So is the fidget spinner all it’s cracked up to be? And will it help with ADHD?

See if the fidget spinner really is helpful.
