Find Out Why Everyone Is Talking About this Awful Mother’s Day Ad

I used to joke that some people are so attached to their moms that the doctor must have forgotten to snip the umbilical cord after he or she was born. You know, the kind of people who need their mother’s assistant for just about everything in life, from picking out their shirt for the day or asking them for a stomach rub even though they are in their mid-30’s (I’m sure you know at least one person that is THIS close to their mom).

But after seeing this Mother’s Day ad I can guarantee you that I’ll never say it again.

Now, don’t get me wrong here: there’s nothing wrong with being close to your mother. I love my own mother to bits and pieces, but I’m happy that the doctor cut the cord when he did. I don’t need her to be making doctor’s appointments for me or to come over my house every other day to do my laundry. I’m sure you get my drift. And that’s also why everyone is talking about this ridiculous Mother’s Day ad, too.

Let me warn you though: once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
