There’s a new study that says mothers who exercise during their pregnancy could give their babies an unexpected benefit.
While I was pregnant with my daughter so many moons ago, I made an effort to hit my local pool and swim laps for 45-minute sessions at least three times a week. It wasn’t always easy, but it kept me moving especially during the summer months when I couldn’t take a walk outside in the heat. Sure, I might have done more waddling than backstroking in the water, but it did feel good and was even sometimes exciting to feel my baby kick like crazy inside of me, too.
Well now, there’s a new report that says mothers who work out during their pregnancies are not only benefiting themselves, but their babies, too. And you won’t believe how!
