American Academy of Pediatrics released new recommendations
When my boys were infants, they both slept in a bassinet next to me. As they got older, I would bring them into bed with me. Yes, I co-slept.
I enjoyed their cuddles during the night, and was able to breastfeed comfortably having them nearby.
The American Academy of Pediatrics have now released new sleep recommendations that experts day, helps to decrease the risks of sudden sleep-related deaths — but they're different than their previous recommendations.
The changes are pretty big and doctors are going to start pushing parents now!
