"I am sorry that our tragedy here in Sandy hook wasn't enough to save your loved ones"
People everywhere are still reeling from the mass shooting in Orlando at gay nightclub Pulse, where 49 young, innocent people were killed when a gunman opened fire. It's the deadliest mass shooting in American history and still people are debating gun laws.
While most of us watched with horror and sadness as the story unfolded on our televisions and social media, one other mother learned of the shooting after returning from a walk, to find her phone inundated with messages from friends hoping she was ok.
Nelba Marquez-Greene lost her 6 year old daughter Ana in the Sandy Hook shooting and she knows all too well how the families of those at the nightclub felt that morning.
