How To Lose Weight With Limited Time

Every year I always give myself a goal of wanting to lose 5-7 to pounds before the summer season. Sometimes I do it, sometimes I don’t. That’s because I don’t always have the time to think about my diet, what I’m eating or how fast I should be walking from Point A to Point B. As a busy mom who juggles work with my household chores and taking care of the kids, losing weight just sometimes isn’t a priority for me.

But in all honesty, I shouldn’t be making excuses. Why? Because if you want to lose weight, you can do it without even thinking about it. In fact, here are 12 quick and easy ways you can lose weight, even if you don’t have the time to do it. You’d be surprised by how fast you’ll start losing weight just by making these simply changes.

1. Water

Drink plenty of water. Often we think we’re hungry when our bodies are actually just begging for water. Cut the sodas, the iced lattes and all of the other sugary drinks in you life and you’ll be surprised at how quickly you’ll start losing weight.

2. Have a High-Calorie Breakfast

Remember when your mother used to tell you that breakfast was the most important meal of the day? She was right. Try eating about a 300 calories of a healthy mix of protein and whole grains. My go-to meal: a sandwich with natural peanut butter and apple butter. It keeps my hunger down so I snack less throughout the day.

3. Clean the Pantry

In other words, clean your pantry. Anything that is boxed is probably not good for you anyway. Eating more protein is a great long-term strategy to reduce belly fat.
