Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are parents to 6 kids ranging in age from 13 years old to 6 years old, so you’d think that they have had their fill of babies! Rumours have been swirling lately that Angie and Brad were looking to expand their brood by adopting not one, but 3 Syrian refugee brothers, but so far those rumours have been unsubstantiated.
For now though it seems Angelina is getting her baby fix on set. The actress is currently filming her next movie ‘First They Killed My Father’, in Cambodia and she’s literally surrounded by hundreds of children on the set. The actress told PEOPLE “I’m surrounded by toys. We have 250 children in a scene, so I filled the house, my car, my trailer with toys. It’s my ‘I love babies’ fix.“
Angelina also said that not only does this movie, which is about the Khmer Rouge genocide, give her her ‘baby fix’, but it’s also bringing out her maternal instincts, telling the magazine “this is going to be the hardest movie”.
“They have to go through a labor camp,” Jolie Pitt says. “They have to cry and scream. My instinct is to want to cut and hug everyone.”
I think it’s probably terribly hard to suppress those feelings sometimes during filming! I’m not sure I would be able to deal with hundreds of children appearing to be sad or in pain, but I guess that’s acting!
Those of us who have kids well past the baby phase know that it’s so nice to be able to get that baby fix sometimes, but it’s also nice when those babies go home at that the end of the day too:)
