I can’t speak for every mama out there, but I for one would absolutely get p*ssed if another parent or stranger even tried to discipline one of my children in public. I’m sorry, but that’s a line that you simply don’t cross. They are my two children and as their parent, it’s my responsibility to teach them the difference between right and wrong. Not you. Or you. Or anything else for that matter.
But of course, that’s not always the case. More often than not you see other kids running rampant around a park playground or even inside a shopping mall while his or her parents are distracted with their siblings, a conversation with another adult or worse, their mobile phone. That’s why a lot of parents are asking this same question….
Is it ok to step in and discipline someone else’s child?
