One of the best things about social media is being able to get to know our favorite celebrities and reality TV stars. It’s great that we get to have an inside look into their lives and for them most part it allows us to really increase our interest in seeing and learning more about them. Sometimes this can backfire for actors — like when their personal drama surpasses their professionalism. It can cause us to only see the person, not the character when we’re watching them on the screen. That tends to ruin things. But, it’s a great thing for reality stars, who are marketing themselves. Michelle Duggar and the rest of the Duggar family are good at giving small looks into their lives. It does work in allowing their fans to get to know them better — especially for those that are no longer on TV, but sometimes that does backfire.
The mom of 19 — and matriarch of the Duggar family and their old show 19 Kids and Counting — is not new to criticism. She’s likely heard it all. Especially so after the past several years and controversies coming out about her oldest son, Josh, and how she and Jim Bob handled the whole situation.
