As a mother, I don’t have a problem seeing another woman breastfeed her child in public. In fact, I encourage it. There’s nothing wrong with breastfeeding or feeding your child when they are hungry, for goodness sake.
But at the same time, I do believe that mothers should be courteous and mindful to those around them. That’s why so many people are criticizing a north Virginia mother who says she was asked to leave a church for breastfeeding her 1-year-old daughter.
Was this breastfeeding mother’s rights violated?
