Unlike in the U.S., this Australian mother was able to take advantage of working with a special physical therapist only a week after giving birth that helped guide her in core-strengthening exercises.

Frankly, I think the U.S. is severely lacking in this area, because all women need that coaching after birth. It should be a normal part of healing and recovery. Taylor also received special compression bandages that she wore after birth to help heal her abs.
