If I had a dollar for every time a stranger gave me a compliment on my adorable “son” or “daughter” that was actually my daughter and my son when they were babies, I would probably been able to afford a big sign that would have informed them of my baby’s gender.
I swear, even when I had my daughter dressed head-to-toe in pink, at least 10 people would compliment me on my “son.” I mean, what the heck? One time she was dressed in an all-pink giant snowsuit and an elderly couple couldn’t help swooning over how he handsome our son was. So yeah, I kind of sort of get where these moms are coming from in wanting to top their daughters with a bow just to stop the comments.
The glue that’s dividing moms across the internet.
