Grieving Mom’s Heartbreaking Photos Show the Reality of Childhood Cancer

There is nothing more gut-wrenching than seeing childhood cancer unfold right before your eyes. It’s arguably one of the most devastating things. Nolan Scully (or Sargent Rollin’ Nolan Scully, as his mom called him), left this Earth in February at just four-years-old, after battling Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare soft tissue cancer.

Two months after he passed away, his mother, Ruth Scully, shared a post on Facebook that gave everyone a glimpse into his last days. The post was equally heart breaking and miraculous all at the same time and showed just how brave Nolan was and how deep of a connection he had with his mama.
