New Orleans French Quarter: Where to Stay And What to Eat!

I recently got to visit the great city of New Orleans as a part of a press trip. I have to say that I truly left a piece of my heart there. Why? Let me just tell you… the food, the luxury, the affordability and the people. So, if you are looking for a fun and unique getaway experience, New Orleans French Quarter just might be the perfect place for you. Here are some of my favorite spots from my trip to New Orleans.

Where to Stay

Hotel Mazarin

Voted #1 hotel in New Orleans on Trip Advisor this hotel is right in the center of the action as it is located right next to Bourbon Street. It’s also attached to one of my fav bars there, Patrick’s Bar Vin. Make sure you meet Patrick, he’s a real hoot.

This is where I stayed and I can’t say enough about how gorgeous this place is. There are 7 charming and private cottages in this lovely location near Bourbon Street in the French Quarter. Once you step inside the doors you are instantly transported to another place. It is so relaxing and peaceful there. The cottages each come with a personal Butler who will ensure that your stay is pleasant. Definitely worth the investment for the experience of luxury here.

  1. Looks like an amazing trip. I love New Orleans, but haven’t been back there since before Katrina. I’ll keep your recommendations in mind. Visiting from NJDM.

  2. The Audubon Cottages look wonderful. I live right outside of New Orleans but have not been in over a year. Typically, I stay at the Roosevelt, which is also lovely. I’ll have to check out the Audubon Cottages next.
