I don’t have the healthiest relationship with food but at the same time, I don’t have a bad one, either. Simply put, I eat what I want but in moderation. I don’t say no to dessert. I don’t say no to pizza on Fridays. But I also make sure to eat my fruits and veggies as often as I can and try to incorporate the right kind of proteins for lunch and dinner.
With that being said though, I also love food. And I unabashedly LOVE sugar, too. I just can’t help it. I love the way macaroons look, I love creative desserts at fancy restaurants and I love to indulge in a pint of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream (when no one else is looking). But for those who are looking to control their weight, I’ve got bad news. It looks like we’ll only be able to look at our favorite foods and not smell them. That’s because a good wiff of what we love can do some serious damage on our waistlines.
