It’s back to school time, which means back to school lunch making time, something so many of us parents dread.
School lunches are so hard – you have to be able to pack something that can withstand being thrown around in your child’s backpack for half the day and still be edible. It has to be something that will stay fresh with only a small ice pack to keep it cool, and it has to be something that your child will actually eat so they can stay nourished for the long day at school.
A school district in Canada recently came under fire for having certain snacks and even whole lunches confiscated from students after teachers and admin deemed them ‘not healthy’ and parents are not having it.
What would you do?
