We all know that being on time is one of the most important things you can teach your kids. Being on time shows respectfulness and preparedness as well as simply common courtesy.
But sometimes kids are late, and now one Utah school has implemented a new policy involving late fines to kids who show up tardy to class, and parents are not very happy about it.
In an effort to curb student lateness, Stansbury High School in Stansbury Park, Utah, has implemented late fines that students will need to pay if they show up late to class.
The first time a student is late they get a warning, but then financial fees are implemented. The second time the student is fined $3, the third time $5. After that the fine goes up $5 each time.
That means if your child isn’t the most punctual it could really end up costing you!
