Parents Take to Social Media to Warn Other Parents of the ‘Dangers’ of Jelly Sandals

Do you remember when jelly shoes were huge in the 1980s and 1990s?

If you don’t know what they are, jelly shoes or jellies are shoes made of PVC plastic. Jelly shoes come in a large variety of brands and colors and the material is frequently infused with glitter.

But now, parents and caregivers on Facebook are warning others not to buy jelly sandals sold by Walmart contain unsafe amounts of lead.
