Piece of Mind with @BestBuy’s @Canary Home Security System and @Netgear #BBYConnectedHome

We live in a condo and have always wanted to purchase a security system but have been skeptical about which one to purchase. I was excited when Best Buy sent me a Canary for testing, because a home should be a safe place. It should be the one place you can arrive and be able to escape the world (even with toddlers).
I’m using the Canary Indoor Wireless High-Definition All-In-One Home Security. It’s easy with absolutely no strings attached. It just gives me the piece of mind that when I leave the house is being watched ( by me:).
Canary keeps my home secure with sound and motion detection notifications, a 90+ decibel siren and Home-Health Technology. It actually gets smarter as it learns the ins and outs of our home, minimizing false alarms triggered by pets or other regular activity.
This all in one service seems to be very helpful to us in a small condo situation. Using Canary is just simple and that is such a nice treat! Everything from setting up the system to using the app was just extremely easy.
Setup was very easy. We placed our Canary in a central place of our home, plugged it in and connected to the Netgear® Nighthawk™ DST Router, developed by Best Buy and Netgear. DST stands for “Dead Spot Terminator”, we have had so many dead spots in our home, this is refreshing. The router is amazing because it includes a Wi-Fi extender, Geek Squad Set Up and Support via phone & web, for one full year. That’s protection you can trust.
This router can support 10+ connected devices at the same time… We always NEED this!. It also allows the ability to prioritize devices for streaming, and has advanced features for lag-free gaming.
It took about 20 minutes to fully set the whole thing up which is beautiful.
Canary takes very clear, HD 1080p resolution which allows you to see every small detail on your screen with the 147° field of view, wide-angled camera–and sends it right to your phone. There is audio, so you can hear what is going on, and has the AMAZING night-vision–up to 20′ away when there’s little to no light.
I love the quality of the video. Live streaming has worked extremely well of the time and the footage was always clear both at home and from remote locations. The wide angle of the camera was enough to capture a rather large room and the digital zoom feature was handy when trying to get a closer look at things.
