The good news is you can shut down Snap Maps on your phone by simply enabling ‘Ghost Mode.’

According to Wired, Snap Maps has three different settings; all your friends, select friends, or only me. Choosing “only me” activates Ghost Mode which makes your avatar disappear from others’ maps.

Ghost Mode can be found on the top right corner of Snap Maps.

Have you checked your child’s phone to make sure they don’t have Snap Maps enabled? Tell us your thoughts and don’t forget to SHARE with your friends.
