That ’10 Concerts’ Facebook Post Has a Hidden Danger

Chances are you that you’ve seen that viral Facebook post going around that asks users to list 10 concerts that they’ve been to. The catch? Only nine are actually true and one is a lie, which encourages other Facebook friends to comment on what they think is true and what they think is a big fat lie.

It’s so fun, right? Yay for meaningless Facebook quizzes that encourage re-sharing and re-posting to clog up our feeds! But in this case, there could be a more sinister side to the ten concert quiz, thanks to a new security warning that says the quiz actually puts Facebook users at major risk for a hack.
