The Biggest Loser Star Bob Harper Suffers a Heart Attack — Get All the Details

Before I get into this, I need to say this as a disclaimer: I love my parents, and even though I might not like everyone that’s related to me, I love my family as a whole. But just like other average, middle class American families out there, we are pretty dysfunctional, loud, crazy, crass and intolerable. It’s in our genetics. It’s who we are and it’s too late for me to make any excuses for it, too.

Another thing that is in our genes is scary health problems, or at least on my mother’s side of the family. They’ve got it all: diabetes, high cholesterol, cancer, strokes, and dementia. And while I sometimes do worry that I might get hit with an unexpected health issue later in life, I do try my best at staying as healthy as I possibly can right now. You can’t predict your future but you can take the necessary steps to make sure that you’re on the right path when it comes to your body and well-being.

That’s why so many people are shocked over one reality television star’s unexpected health crisis. He’s fit, he’s health-conscious, and he’s in the business of helping people lose weight. So why in the world did The Biggest Loser star Bob Harper have a heart attack?
