This Dad Is Letting his 3-Year-Old Son Dress Up As Elsa This Halloween

This. Is. Awesome. It looks like there are some people out there who are doing parenting right when it comes to allowing kids to be kids. Proud papa Paul Henson recently went Halloween costume shopping for his 3-year-old son Caiden. And while there were plenty of Star Wars, Ninja Turtle or Minecraft costumes to pick from, the little cutie opted to be Queen Elsa from Frozen. That is, if his dad dresses up as Princess Anna.

Paul shared a photo of his son dressed in an Elsa costume on his Facebook page and it has since gone viral with over 25,000 shares. Here’s what he wrote:

Anyone that knows us, knows we generally let Caiden make his own choices, to an extent. Well, he has decided on a Halloween costume. He wants to be Elsa. He also wants me to be Anna. Game on.

Keep your masculine bullshit and slutty kids costumes, Halloween is about children pretending to be their favorite characters. Just so happens, this week his is a princess.

I couldn’t have said this better myself. Tell us Hot Moms, have your children already picked out their Halloween costumes for this year? Would you have an issue if your son wanted to be a princess of if your daughter picked out a Darth Vader costume to wear? And while we’re on the subject, can we also go ahead and give Paul his Best Dad of the Year Award???
