This past year I’ve enjoyed a new hobby that I once mastered as a child: coloring. I’ve bought a few travel-themed coloring books to use during long-haul flights and those nights at home in which I have plenty of time to enjoy myself when I’m bored (ok that second part is a big fat lie). Either way, I’ll admit that it’s incredibly therapeutic to color in the lines alongside your children and mentally escape for a little bit while doing so, too.
If there’s one person who knows the feeling all too well it’s mother and blogger Erin Williams. She recently created a coloring book for new parents that depicts like as it really is. Screaming baby in the car seat? Check. Judgmental woman in the grocery store parking lot? Check. Pantless baby in public? Check.
