This Mommy Blogger Gets Brutally Honest About Her Picture ‘Perfect’ Life

When it comes to comparing myself to others I could win an Olympic gold medal. I am the queen of doing this. And, as much as I love Facebook for making it easier for me to connect with family and friends who are abroad, I also hate it. I mean HATE IT. Everyone’s life looks so picture perfect. Facebook and Instagram are full of shiny, happy people going on amazing vacations, having wonderful adventures with their soul mate and mini-me kids. If they’re particularly annoying, they’ll have a breathtaking sunset in the background and will add the comment: “#nofilter.”

That’s why I love this essay that Australian mommy blogger Kyree Harvey wrote. It went viral and I can see why. She keeps things very real.
