As a family, we don’t eat very much fish or seafood in general because my daughter is allergic to it. As much as my husband, my son and I love sushi, we don’t order it very often because it’s just simply unfair for my daughter to sit with us during dinner with nothing more than a salad and bowl of rice.
Another reason why we don’t eat very much fish (even though it’s actually very healthy for you in general) because it’s tough trying to separate the good fish from the bad. I mean, we’ve all heard about the high level of mercury in seafood these days, right? Just ask this mother in England, whose daughter is now unable to properly walk and talk. She is adamant the reason for daughter’s deteriorating condition is because of the canned tuna she used to eat on an almost daily basis.
Could this be more serious than we think?
