US School District Approves Policy That Would Allow Teachers to Give Corporal Punishment

I know that “spare the rod and spoil the child” is very controversial in the state of Texas (and as a matter of fact all throughout the country), but if there’s one thing that I am strongly opposed of, it’s corporal punishment in the classroom. I’m sorry, but no human being on this planet is allowed to put their hands on my child in any shape, way or form. And I’m sure there are plenty of parents out there that can agree with me on this, too.

Yet, one school district wants to bring back paddling as punishment in school and as you can imagine, a lot of parents are not happy about it at all.
