New York City is home to super mom, fashionista and business owner Tiffany Keriakos. An accomplished marketing executive in the beauty industry who has held senior roles at companies like Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and June Jacobs Spa Collection, Keriakos is now the owner of a luxury consignment boutique while caring for and growing her family. After marrying her husband and bringing her beautiful baby boy into the world, Keriakos planned on launching a high-end online fashion boutique. But thanks to impeccable timing, she instead bought and took over a brick and mortar luxury consignment shop, nestled into a cozy corner of the Upper East Side in Manhattan.
Since 2015, the fashionista has been growing and rebranding the consignment shop, starting with a new name, Designer Revival. Formerly Designer Resale, the boutique has been a neighborhood mainstay for nearly 25 years, dressing the savviest women in New York, including Ashley Olsen and Catherine Zeta Jones. While Keriakos brings a fresh and exciting new look to the boutique, she has kept the vision it has instilled since day one —to make women feel beautiful.
“We love to think of shopping at Designer Revival as going on a glamorous treasure hunt,” says Keriakos. “As a consignment shop our inventory changes every day as new pieces come in and hot items sell quickly. If you find something you love, buy it! Our inventory is one-of-a-kind so that Chanel jacket or pair of Fendi pumps may not be here tomorrow.”
Through efforts to improve the look, feel and quality of the high-end luxury fashion destination, Keriakos and her team have introduced a variety of new services including an in-store tailor and personal stylists as well as Closet Revival services. Keriakos and her team also host a variety of events from in-store manicures and sip & shop events to fundraisers for charities like The Happy Hearts Fund.
“Our Closet Revival program is a 360 degree service where we come into your home and help revamp your wardrobe,” says Keriakos. “We take customer service and customer convenience into strong consideration since we are in the city and our clientele are lugging clothes in and out of the store constantly.”
Since taking over new ownership, Keriakos has also grown Designer Revival into a “click and mortar” business, launching an ecommerce website in 2016 and a YouTube Channel in early 2017. The boutique is also active on social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to update their clients on new trends, styles and additions to their inventory in a moment’s notice.
“This is a great platform for Designer Revival clientele to preview and buy our inventory online,” says Keriakos. “Designer Revival’s YouTube channel is also a great way for us to share expert fashion tips and for fashionistas to find new style inspiration!”
As a consignor and consignment shopper, Keriakos has a wardrobe made up of top designers’ hottest pieces with favorite designers like Roland Mouret, Givenchy, Chanel, Alexander McQueen and Tom Ford. The fashionista travels to Paris once a year in search of style treasures, one of a kind pieces and the next big trend that she can bring into her store or own wardrobe. Keriakos recently acquired a 200 piece vintage Chanel capsule collection for the boutique.
Before heading off to work each day, Keriakos starts her morning by waking up with her two-year-old son, Kai Asher for breakfast and takes him for a daily morning walk with their beloved dog. After getting her son ready and off to preschool, Keriakos pours her coffee and hits a class at Tracy Anderson. The working super mom is also sure to make it home in time to have dinner with her family every night!
