You don’t imagine bullets being fired. Twelve-year-old Kanari Gentry Bowers was playing basketball with a few classmates at an elementary school court in West Englewood, Chicago, when the sound of gunfire sent them running.
The tween girl couldn’t run – she was shot in the head.
