Vanessa Hudgens Dedicates Her ‘Grease: Live’ Performance To Her Dad Who Passed Away One Day Before

Last night’s production of Grease: Live on FOX was dedicated to a very special man. As the credits rolled, a dedication that read ‘In Loving Memory of Greg Hudgens, June 22, 1950 – January 30, 2016’ appeared on the screen. Greg is the father of cast member Vanessa Hudgens who played Rizzo in the live production, and he sadly passed away from cancer the day before the show.

Proving that the show must go on, Vanessa announced her father’s death on twitter and followed it up by tweeting that she’ll perform in his honour.
