Sometimes the simplest of things can have the biggest impact on our lives, we all strive to look young and feel fit, and the key to starting is right in your home. WATER. Yes you have all heard people say, ‘Drink More Water’, we all ‘know’ this, but doing it is crucial to our health and well being–our bodies are over 70% water, and most illnesses stem from dehydration.
When we are hydrated our skin is clearer and more luminous, you have more energy and water cleanses toxins from your body. Ideally we should be drinking at least one half of our body weight in ounces of water a day, but most people do not. For one month, make a log of water you drink, and this does not include juices, or tea- just water… how much do you drink? If you weigh 120 lbs you should be drinking at least 60 ounces of water a day. If you replace soda and sugary bottled juices with water each day you quench your thirst without the calories, thus aiding in weight loss…if loosing weight is your goal you will be surprised at how much you can loose just by making this swap. To make that transition easier, I suggest squeezing lemon into the water or adding cucumber or orange slices- create your own ‘spa’ water! Trust me, employ these 4 tips below for the next month and see the dramatic difference in your health, energy and appearance!!
