Here Are 9 Really Weird But Common Signs You’re Pregnant

I was the kind of person who thought getting pregnant would be a direct science. I tracked my periods, downloaded several apps to help me plan the “best” days to conceive and even waited patiently for the first signs of pregnancy to kick in. Unfortunately, the first month after trying didn’t work. And it didn’t work the second or third month either. It wasn’t until the fourth month that I vomited everything I ate for breakfast every morning and cried like a hormonal mess that I find out that yes, I sure was expecting!

As I’m sure everyone already knows, no two pregnancies are the same. You might experience menstrual cramps, light spotting or bleeding before a week or two of your missed period. Not everyone experiences the same symptoms, but if they occur, they could be early signs of pregnancy.

Yet, there are also weight but totally legit early pregnancy symptoms that signal a pregnancy. But most of the time we’re not even paying attention to them!

Many new moms might ignore a mild fever or a seasonal flu accompanied with blocked nose and wheezing cough as a pregnancy symptom. But if these signs appear just when you missed a period and experience abdominal cramps along with symptoms of nausea, it means that your body is sending out enough clues about your pregnancy.

2. Diarrhea

No, it’s not the Indian food you had for lunch. If you change the food you eat, that can sometimes cause an upset stomach or diarrhea. … Sometimes hormones can cause your digestive process to slow down, and at times that can lead to diarrhea. Every pregnant woman has these hormonal changes, but some will experience diarrhea early in their pregnancy from those changes.

3. Stomach Cramps

Stomach cramps are sometimes accompanied by spotting. Women can also experience abdominal cramps in the early weeks of pregnancy due to the stretching and growing of the uterus. These cramps are usually sporadic and last a couple of weeks. They should not be accompanied by any bright red bleeding.
